Arriving at JOMEC Addiction Treatment Centers

Our number one priority on your first day at JOMEC Addiction Treatment Centers is to help you feel safe, welcome, and comfortable. An attentive and highly trained team is waiting to listen to your needs and help assess the most appropriate and effective treatment plan for you. From assisting you with paperwork to giving you and your family a tour of the facility to informing the medical staff of your medical needs, our compassionate staff is here to help you recover.

As an institution we are equipped and always ready to assist and admit clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the process is expeditiously done in a professional and systematic manner. The process is as follows;

  1. On arrival, an intake officer assists the client complete the admission forms; capturing basic personal information and assisted to comply with NHIF requirements
  2. The guardian and the client are taken through the consent for evaluation and/or treatment, thereafter signing the various forms.
  3. Upon admission a counsellor works with the client to complete various assessment tools. This is a clinical evaluation of one’s addiction history and behavioral issues.
  4. On special circumstances, the institutions may liaise with the family of the client and facilitate transportation to the Centre.

What to Bring

Our primary goal is to create an environment that is safe, comfortable and conducive to healing. We hope you will find the following list helpful in preparing you for your treatment experience at JOMEC. We are happy to answer any questions and discuss any concerns you may have.

Items you should bring include:

  1. Personal hygiene — Bring shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and other personal items. No products that contain alcohol, such as mouthwash and hairspray, are allowed.
  2. Comfortable clothes — Pack four to five days’ worth of clothing. Do not bring suggestive or revealing clothing, or clothing that depicts alcohol, drugs, violence or sex.
  3. Comfortable walking shoes and slippers
  4. List of current medications, including dosage and instructions

Wednesday, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, from 12 – 2 p.m.
